The major summer exhibition is dedicated to Wolfgang Tillmans (*1968). Tillmans was born in 1968 in Remscheid, Germany. At 20 he lived in Hamburg, where he began his work as an artist. He studied at the College of Art and Design in Bournemouth in the early 90s. Between 1992 and 2007, he lived and worked predominantly in London; afterward, he shifted his focus to Berlin.
