This exhibition is the first retrospective of an artist who has left his mark on generations of creators across domains ranging from cinema to visual arts, from theatre to cartoon, literature, tarot and many more. Alejandro Jodorowsky has overturned, modified and questioned our way of seeing and comprehending the world.

His anti-conformist and pluralistic work demonstrates a symbolic, philosophical and aesthetic force, reaching beyond the boundaries of art. Greek architect and designer Andreas Angelidakis has been invited to create an architecture within the architecture of the museum—an unprecedented project which will celebrate Jodorowsky’s eclectic and atypical career. This spectacular and emblematic space, morphed into a large scene of experimental theatre, will provide the spectators with a unique opportunity to experience “total art.”
