In occasion of JEMA (Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art), Le Centre International d'Art Verrier presents Les Pitres, the project realized by the designer Hellène Gaulier.

Every year JEMA permits to discover exceptional craft works realized across France and Europe. The Centre International d'Art Verrier took advantage of the occasion to present its last astonishing project. Les Pitres aims to combine brass and aluminium with hot glass to give birth to unique and quirky pieces. The researches for the creation of this project spread over 3 years because of the apparent incompatibility of the two materials. However, with the hard work and passion of Hellène Gaulier, the editor Bernard Chauveau and the glass craftsmen a series of this unusual but astounding objects have been realized.

After the end of JEMA, a temporary exhibition of the pieces will take place at the Site Verrier Meisenthal until the 31st of October.
