The Kartell Museum which was completely renovated for its 15th birthday hosts the site-specific installation by the artist, Stefano Arienti, Among the Trees.

The roomy square central atrium of the museum provides the background to the three floor-to-ceiling 9 metre tall panels of dustproof sheeting used in scaffolding (white, light and semi-transparent) on which the artist has painted stylized life-sized trees by hand with gold ink. At their feet on a 1:1 scale some of the iconic products of the company such as La Marie, Bourgie, Gnomes, Louis Ghost and Bubble Club are represented with the same technique.
Visitors find themselves in an architectural interior and inside an area. An authentic, imaginary garden.
