What love !? .
The eponymous exhibition brings together the work of contemporary international artists , generations and different horizons, whose works bear witness to the permanence of the motif of love in artistic creation.
Imagined as two intertwined paths, the exhibition invites the public to choose their entry, possibly temporarily separating from the person who accompanies it ... "Love will tear us apart" Ian Curtis urge in 1980.

Photographs, installations, videos, sculptures and paintings explore the imminence of sentiment, both through the collaborations of artist couples (Gilbert & Georges, Marina Abramovic and Ulay ...), as in passionate statements embodied in the works of Louise Bourgeois .

This dialogue of practices and points of view is also embodied in the works of feminist artists such as Pilar Albarracín or in a dive in the heart of love in the age of AIDS, a significant explosion in the work of Nan Goldin and of Felix Gonzalez Torres in the 80s.

What love !? is also an opportunity to invite some artists to create works specifically for the exhibition : among them, Claude Lévêque , Antoine d'Agata and Omar Ba joign their visions, their languages, to this polyphonic exploration on the borders of the love.
The exhibition is conceived as an inquiry , on a pattern that resonates in each person's intimate experience, just as it reveals the otherness.
