ALVEARI URBANI
Starting from Milano Design Week throughout EXPO 2015, GREEN ISLAND will present a cultural and creative programme of valorisation, promotion and awareness-raising of eco-friendly practices in the urban contest, focused on safeguard of bees and knowledge of the honey, with the spread of eco-design installations, exhibitions, conferences, and educational activities.
Starting from this exhibition in Milan Garibaldi train Station, the program will continue with the production by local craftsmen and installation in public gardens of the urban hives:
- Opening April 14 from 6.00 pm ALVEARI DAL MONDO exhibition at Garibaldi Train Station Hall, Piazza Freud 1
- April 15 from 5.00 pm Workshop on impollinators and biodiversity. Special project by CRTLZAK at Giardino del Terraggio, via Terraggio 5.
- April 16 at 5.00 pm presentation on the art video on bees back to the city and distribution of seeds by Polonca Lovsin at Spazio Milano Green Point
- April 16 at 7.00 pm presentation at Spazio Lombardini22/via Lombardini 22 of the artist hive designed for the garden by Simone Berti. To follow drinks and music.
