pre summer 2022 2021 is a decisive year for climate change, the Fall Winter 2021/22 collection is named after the coordinates -75.500000, -106.750000 which refer to the Thwaites Glacier, located in Western Antarctica and is considered the most important glacierin the world and at the same time the most dangerous, due to itshigh and rapid thawing rate, which would be capable of causing serious consequences on the planet if we do not act on time in thenext 18 months. This collection explores the contrast between mixed feelings, accelerated changes and is inspired by the attractiveness of nature and nostalgia, balance and imbalance, uncertainty, hope, challenge, doubt, stress, insecurity, self-responsibility. The fabrics in the collection stand out for their natural and nostalgic tones (beige, brown, natural green and navy) that areknown to us in a time of accelerated change, and another of saturated colors (yellow, green) inspired by digital culture and the information overload. The collection introduces the brand’s own monogram, inspired by the“Barracas” from Sonia’s hometown Valencia, inserted into the suit, shirt,dress and the new shape: the bodysuit, always made from knitwear base and made of certified recycled cotton and recycled wool. The core of the collection is an experimentation from sharp Tailoring, deconstructing shapes and techniques to reach new limits.
