"In this difficult, complex, and uncertain period, we have all discovered together that we need Europe more", said the Association in a statement. "We have found that being short-sighted without confronting yourself with other European capitals is certainly a mistake. Today we have understood that a healthy antagonism with Paris, which together with Milan has always commanded the world fashion weeks, can only bring advantages for everyone. Above all, in terms of sales, it can bring advantages to the brands that our association represents."

"It is necessary that the world looks up to Europe and especially to the main fashion capitals, Milan and Paris, to reconfirm the historical, cultural, and undisputed role that these two great cities have always had in the global fashion scene," the statement added.

The association, which groups 34 Milanese multi-brand showrooms among about 60 in the Lombard capital, launches the "Csm in Paris" project to bring Made in Italy collections back to the French capital after two years of the pandemic.

This collective exhibition has its headquarters in 7 Rond Point des Champs-Elysees Marcel-Dassault in Paris. The location is also known as the Espace Montagne. During the Fashion Week, Csm will bring to Paris about ten multi-brand showrooms, members of the association. Among the showrooms present, 1st Floor, Elisa Gaito Showroom, Daniele Ghiselli Showroom, Panorama Moda, Studio Zeta, and Zappieri, which presents the SS23 ready-to-wear and women's accessories collections from Oct. 1 to 5, 2022.

"This initiative is destined to grow in the coming seasons to become a real fair in the heart of Paris," concluded the statement.
