Specialized in contemporary art, on the first market, and opened on October 6, 1994 on the initiative of Jérôme and Emmanuelle de Noirmont, the Galerie Jérôme de Noirmont represents French and foreign artists of worldwide recognition.

Its initial purpose was to make art lovers discover internationally recognized artists whose work was completely or partially unknown in France, including the Scott David Mach, the German a.r. Penck, the timeless couple McDermott & McGough, and also the American Jeff Koons who had his very first personal show in France in 1997 at the gallery (Koons’only one-man show in France up till now!)

Carrying on its desire to discover new talents and to present today's art in its diversities of expression in a spirit of complete freedom, the gallery has been supporting since 2002 Claudine Drai, Benjamin Sabatier, Yi Zhou…

Wanting to honour three of the greatest artists of our time, ten years after their death, the gallery organized three large retrospectives between 1997 and 1999 devoted to Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and finally to Keith Haring with the gallery representing his Estate in France since 1999.
