Since then, Maria Luisa offers a selection of designers who have deeply influenced the next decades, such as the British Galliano, Westwood and McQueen, the first generation of Belgium designers (Margiela, Ann Demeulemeester), the Japanese (Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garçons), and even Helmut Lang…

Their talents will be confirmed later on as many of them will take over the artistic direction of renowned houses. The shop has never stopped introducing other names into international fashion such as Olivier Theyskens, Rick Owens, Nicolas Ghesquière, Riccardo Tisci, Christopher Kane…

Maria Luisa has always run her store the same way, pursuing modernity and seeking young talents. She follows her subjectivity and disregards simplistic, reductive trends.
