À l’occasion des 40 ans du Centre Pompidou, le Studio GGSV, composé du duo de designers, Gaëlle Gabillet et Stéphane Villard, a imaginé une manifestation inédite. Ils ont conçu « Galerie Party » comme une fiction, une histoire en trois actes.

Pour ce deuxième épisode, le célèbre artiste chinois Liu Bolin, surnommé « L’Homme invisible », vient se dissimuler dans l’exposition. Reprenant ce principe de camouflage, le Studio GGSV imagine un jeu de déguisement ils choisissent dans l’espace scénographique le lieu où disparaitre !

Le 9 septembre Liu Bolin débutera sa performance à 10h.

They are assembled in ways so that filled-in or empty shadows and colors define slightly off-beat shades. Squares reverse to make reflections bounce around. The workshops are great opportunities to learn how screen-print on textiles and paper. Participants will make their own posters, bags, hand towels, etc. on Saturday September 9 and 16 and Sunday September 10 from 3pm to 6pm.

In this work Roberto Sironi has sought out the remains of burnt trees to reflect on the intrinsic value of the entropic process that models matter according to the laws of nature. The Fuoco collection was born from the collaboration between two prestigious art and design venues: the Gallery S. Bensimon in Paris and the historical artistic foundry Fonderia Artistica Battaglia in Milan.

Habitat Design Lab presents Maximum at the Pont Neuf Habitat store during Paris Design Week. Design Lab is an experimental laboratory whose goal is to promote handcrafted, experimental, emerging or even radical creations. The Y’s Yohji Yamamoto boutique invites the Japanese duo Hiroyuki Saito and Yoshiki Uchida, respectively craftsman and creative director, to exhibit their artworks of hand-made Japanese paper, known as Ôzu Washi. This raw yet sophisticated, seemingly fragile but resistant paper has obtained the Japanese traditional craftmanship label Densan and will be shown at fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto’s well-known boutique. The two designers’ custom-made artworks will be installed in all the boutique windows.
