UP-AND-COMING TALENTS AT LE OFF

Mmajor springboard for designer creativity. It presents the New Design Talents and Emerging Design Brands from around the world.

The New Design Talents will be selected to take part in the RADO STAR PRIZE France contest.

Les Ateliers de Paris invitent Céline Pelcé à investir la galerie pour recevoir de manière inattendue, du 7 au 15 septembre. Avec l’hospitalité comme sujet, elle croise l’espace d’une salle à manger avec celui d’une galerie d’art : les rituels de la table et ceux du vernissage comme éléments de codes, de rôles, d’images à questionner et détourner.

Rado is not only the proud recipient of numerous prestigious international design awards: the brand also collaborates with leading designers on the creation of new timepieces and runs worldwide Rado Star Prize competitions for up-and-coming young designers. The Rado True Phospho wins 2018 Red Dot Design Award.Swiss design trio Big-Game created the True Phospho – a pared down piece that focused on removing, rather than adding design elements.The Rado Star Prize is a competition that aims to offer a career springboard to talented young designers and reward the most innovative projects. All projects selected for this 2018 edition are exhibited at Le Off until September 9th, 2018.

Ecole Bleue Global Design is participating in “The Off” exhibition during the Paris Design Week 2018, organised at Ground Control, Wednesday 5 to Sunday 9 September 2018.
For this event, now a major launchpad for creation and design, the Ecole Bleue is showing a selection of 16 product design projects by 5th year graduate students, from the 2018 Global Design promotion.

The exhibition cycle DESIGN LITHUANIA is showcasing the best of Lithuanian design throughout Europe, and even a bit further. The aim of the project is to present Lithuanian design and represent our country at the most important design events in Europe. This project reveals the deep connection between the designers, their works and the Lithuanian landscape, and so it focuses on several specific topics. Nature, cuisine, folk tales and traditional materials – these various features of Lithuania’s natural and mental landscapes are closely linked in the designers’ works. The project is organised since 2012 by Lithuanian Design Forum,supported by the Lithuanian Council for Culture. Exhibitions have already been showcased 17 times abroad.
