| Minds Rising, Spirits Tuning sets out to examine the spectrum of the extended mind through artistic and theoretical means. Directed by Defne Ayas and Natasha Ginwala, from Sep. 4 to Nov. 29 2020, the 13th Gwangju Biennale will feature a dynamic program encompassing an exhibition, a performance program, an online publishing platform and publications, and a series of public forums bringing together artists, theoretical scientists, and systems thinkers. | BDF was created to show the world that the city’s design community should be taken seriously. The festival wanted to engage local communities and businesses, promote designers working out of the city and give the students something to be a part of during & after their study has finished. This year, {{the festival will take place from the 8th to the 6th of June 2020 and to make the festival an immersive experience for every attendee they split ‘design’ into three key areas of study that they call ‘Districts’. This allows them to create hubs across the city and engage audiences in close quarters, whilst showcasing some of Birmingham’s beautiful creative spaces. | The Biennale Interieur npo is a non-profit organisation acting in the field of design, product development and innovation. 2020's edition will take place from 22 to 26 October.
