1965 Born in Hiroshima. 1998 Starts the brand BACKLASH. 2003 Flagship store opens in Daikanyama district, Tokyo. 2005 Backlash Calling opens in Osaka . Paris and Milano collection presentation debut.
2006 Anonymous Backlash opens in Fukuoka. 2008 Ladies line, BACKLASH Ballet.
Isamu Katayama is constantly researching and studying every possibility for leather, without any limitation of his passion and power to create a supreme clothing and accessories collection each season.
As he focuses on a craftmen's approach with leather tanning technique, each piece comes out unique.
