Since the launch of the brand in 1982 with women’s Ready to Wear clothing, Hiroko Koshino has been known as one of the leading Japanese designers brand. Hiroko Koshino, fashion designer of 50 plus years. Her pursuit of beauty and creation never settles, and today, her creation is considered to be one of the most influential one in Japan, sales scale as a design brand one of the top.
The designer, with all the status and fame as a top fashion designer in Japan, is well versed to variety of art as well.

Shamisen (a traditional Japanese musical instrument), Painting, and Calligraphy skill of the designer is beyond hobby and has been highly appraised. Many times, her fashion has been displayed with the art work for better expression of Hiroko Koshino’s world and sensibility.
1964 Opened an haute couture atelier in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
1977 Participated Tokyo Collection and attended constantly every twice a year.
1978 Participating the Alta Moda runway show in Rome as the first Japanese designer.
1997 Won the first honor of 15th Mainichi Fashion Grand Prix.
2000 Held collaboration event titled "Tactile Sensation" with space designer Christian Biecher in Hamburg, Germany.
2002 Held exhibition "Honoka, Hirameki (faint, afflatus)" in Tokyo, Sapporo, and Kokura.
2003 Held an exhibition "Hiroko Koshino Works”at Kintetsu Art Building in Osaka,
2004 Held exhibition titled "Hiroko Koshino Exhibition at Ashiya City Museum of Art and History
2006 Held collaborating exhibition titled "Kasane (layers)" with Kondaya Genbe, the well-established kimono maker, and architect Kengo Kuma, at the Daimaru Museum Tokyo.
2009 Returned to Paris Prêt-à-Porter Collection in March and presented 2009-10 AW runway show collection.
Presented 2009-10 AW runway collection show for annual fashion event “Taipei in Style”
Received title of professor emeritus from Shih Chen University of Taiwan as the first non-Taiwanese, for her contribution to fashion culture of Taiwan.
2010 Gave lecture and held 2011 SS collection at International Costume Culture and Education Conference in Beijing.
Received title of professor emeritus from the organizer Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.
