Biography

Arashi Yanagawa,the fashion designer behind the label JOHN LAWRENCE SULLIVAN was born 1975 in Hiroshima, Japan Holding a career as a professional boxer for 4years, Yanagawa became a self-taught fashion designer upon retirement.
His first presentation was the 2007Spring/Summer collection in Tokyo and a year later opened his first flagship store in Nakameguro, Tokyo.
Yanagawa is intrigued by the challenge of matching patterns and materials,leading to aesthetic pieces of art.
He continues to pursue the elegant image of sleek silhouettes and fine
tailoring.
