Kim Kiroic becoming a footwear designer might count as a coincidence.He used to sketch his dream sneakers in class out of the obsession of basketball, this simple aspiration as a teen is still his major impetus and motivation.After graduated from university, Kim worked in a few renowned sneaker company for marketing, graphic and retails. Once Kim got the task to design one pair of sports shoes in a marketing project, then he realized that shoe design might be his life goal.
In 2008, Kim Kiroic has designed few pairs of sneakers-sandals hybrid, these were was just meant to be fun, and he never thought these shoes would later made his name at international fashion world, during the fashion show of JUUN.J at the Spring / Summer 2010 Paris Fashion Week.Since then, Kim collaborated with JUUN.J's show footwear for 3 more years.
Apart from the KIROIC for JUUN.J collection, his own high-end collection KIROIC is also presented at Paris since 2011 Spring / Summer. KIROIC's design is best known for its' unique visions through deconstructed, transformable designs & geometric silhouettes.
By 2013, Kim officially launched his new brand KKtP,which inherits his individual style and combines his unique esthetic with modern style for the contemporary youth.The design carries on the mix style of futuristic elements and urban taste, without sacrificing its' sporty wearability.
"KKtP" is the abbreviation of “King's knight's pawn”, which origin from a term of Draughts,meaning the pawn will upgrade to a queen once it make through to the base linee of the other side.Implying the brand as a “pawn of fashion” and perseverance leads to final victory.
As a growing brand, KKtP is constantly refreshing it's own definition.From a single pair of sneakers to a complete footwear collection, from collaborating with a numbers of designers and commercial brands to now launching clothing line.KKtP is not only a fashion brand but also a team composed with creative individuals from different fields.KKtP.com as a platform of collective brands, selects only the most cross-sectional product with taste, presenting to the global youth.Like KKtP implying that the weak could come together as a greater strength.
