In the year 1994, Hiroyuki Nakamura established the unisex brand ShelterLee as a designer for an apparel manufacturer. In March 2001, after 7 years of activity, he became independent and established MOR.K.S with a desire to achieve ultimate production levels and create pieces with a strict eye for details. In March 2003, he advanced the brand with the opening of a shop he called FranCisT_Mor::K::S..
The brand focuses on the artistic feeling that is the fusion of the sensitivity of the poet FranCis.T whom the designer Nakamura reveres and the quality of More.Kool.ShelterLee later MOR.K.S.
The MOR.K.S's concept is to have a precise fusion of contrasting details and luxurious daily wear for adults. The brand runs three different lines; a mens line FranCisT_MOR.K.S., a ladies line Vijin, and a denim line MOR.K.S. JEANS. The brand's identifying characteristics are beauty, special processing, and a good fit and feel.
