Familiar to the world of fine arts and crafts as a child, he spent most of his adolescent earnings for picture collections. Since his encounter with certain jewelry ornament called «CARRERA y CARRERA» in his late 20’s, feeling deeply impressed «Is having the strength to produce something so splendid by ones hands something one possesses?» And at the same time, strongly thinking, we would also like to produce the kinds of things that are admired and impress people.


11 years have passed since actively starting as an accessory designer, and has grown towards a designer who embraces many musicians, models, actors, and fashion designers as customers. We strengthen our bonds with the upper strata of society on a daily basis, and presently not being restricted to just silver accessories, days are spent dedicated to high jewelry designs that will brightened those companions even more.

Company profile
Origin of the Brand Name PUERTA DEL SOL is an accessories brand that designer Tomoyasu Hirano established in 1995. Previously making the most of the experience concerned with prototype production of ladies jewelry, these prototypes are also made by his hands.

The brand name PUERTA DEL SOL comes from a place in Madrid Spain and the name means «Sun Gate», it is also shown as point zero on road origins. It means starting from nothing and includes that the designer himself received great influence from the likes of Spanish writers and architectural structures.

The brand concept is «Rock & Luxury». The meanings of the two words are: «Rock» which means not only the nature of music but also represents style and doing the things one wants to do. «Luxury» signifies doing the things you want to do and being stylish are true luxuries.


In 1999, it was categorized as IP jewelry, announcing the jewelry that has black and blue color emissions made of titanium, and in the same year announced the accessories that uses chess in its design. The chess knight design as the icon of PUERTA DEL SOL was proposed and unfolded in a series in various forms including a necklace with luxurious specifications of platinum and diamonds.

Since the designer thought that diamonds would like to be worn casually and elegantly by both men and women alike, numerously treated items of platinum, gold and silver based diamonds were unfolded.

In 2000, as a space for expressing the brand concept more strongly, opened the first roadside shop in Ebisu and in addition to the gigantic remodeling of the Ebisu store in 2004, opened the Isetan Shinjuku shop that became the second shop under direct management.

In February of 2006, the Kyoto shop became the third shop and opened the Shibuya shop in April of 2006, which became the fourth shop. The new collection announcement exhibition is going on energetically in Japan and Paris.

October 2000 - PUERTA DEL SOL becomes the first directly managed shop in Ebisu Tokyo
February 2001 - On display at «Magic Display» in Las Vegas, America
October 2003 - On display at «Première Classe» Paris, France
March 2004 - On display at «Première Classe» Paris, France
September 2004 The PUERTA DEL SOL Isetan Shinjuku shop becoming the second shop under direct management opens
July 2004 - The combined exhibition with «master mind JAPAN» is held in Paris, France.
January 2005 - The combined exhibition with «master mind JAPAN», «roarguns», and «kiryukiryu» is held in Paris, France.
July 2005 - The combined exhibition «treasure vol.1» of 3 brands with «roarguns» and «kiryukiryu» starts in Paris, France.
January 2006 - «treasure vol.2» with «roarguns», «kiryukiryu» and the addition of «TroisO», «kyoji maruyama» and «siro hamanaka», totaling 6 brands are displayed in Paris, France
February 2006 - The PUERTA DEL SOL Kyoto shop becoming the third directly managed shop opens
April 2006 - The PUERTA DEL SOL Shibuya shop which became the 4th shop under direct management opens
July 2006 - «treasure vol.3» opens in Paris, France
