Biography
A passion for design, extensive technical know-how in shoemaking and a love of craftsmanship are all part of Roberto Del Carlo’s philosophy and the accessories collection which bears his name. Though he doesn’t like to be described as a designer, Roberto’s collections have a strong personal touch, which is clear from the shapes, cuts and materials he chooses.
He visibly draws on the past by bringing back traditional techniques and using them to create a sophisticated and contemporary style. Typical of his style are black and dark brown - colours which he has always used and always manages to give a new look. His meticulous choice of luxurious materials and the way they are finished also define Roberto Del Carlo the "craftsman", and are a way of conveying a practical idea of luxury. His customers are women who care more about the product than the label, and rediscover this style message in every collection.

La ROBERTO DEL CARLO s.p.a., con sede nella provincia di Lucca, nasce negli ultimi anni ’90 con l’intento di sviluppare una collezione di calzature donna dal design contemporaneo e con un’attenta distribuzione commerciale.
L'azienda produce esclusivamente la linea ROBERTO DEL CARLO. La sua organizzazione le permette di controllare il processo produttivo dalla scelta dei materiali di altissima qualità al finissaggio. Tutte le lavorazioni sono fatte a mano da artigiani del team aziendale permettendo così di ottenere una scarpa dalla qualità eccezionale.
La collezione è distribuita attraverso una rete commerciale seguita interamente dall’azienda, principalmente negli Stati Uniti, in Giappone e in Europa. La collezione presentata nello showroom di Milano è venduta all’interno di selezionate boutique multibrand e department store, rappresentando una delle espressioni più ricercate del Made In Italy nel mondo.
