The RUNDHOLZ collection is replete with surprises and yet it’s still familiar to the customer: The styles demonstrate an extraordinary mix of simplicity, sporty look, femininity and excitement; they are plain and lavish at the same time.

The fabrics entice you to touch; feeling the material becomes a haptic experience. Decor and details are loving and unusual, but never too opulent or pompous. Since the foundation of the company and the creation of the first collection in the Autumn of 1993 the name RUNDHOLZ has stood for outfits which are not subject to any short-lived trend, but instead emphasise the style and the individuality of the wearer. The models combine fit-for-wear and saleability with individuality and artistic charm.

“A high creative drive spurs us on”, says Carsten Rundholz. “We are constantly further developing ourselves, and enjoy the freedom we have with our work. It makes the collection what it is.” Lenka and Carsten Rundholz interpret freedom as pertaining to all aspects from the very first inspiration via the production and even extending to distribution.

This enables the designer duo to enact an uncompromising implementation of all of their ideas a privilege that repeatedly benefits the collection: “We do resort to any short-term ‘in’ fashion gags. Innovation comes about through the permanent further development of our style by means of refined and rediscovered materials, style designs or colour techniques”, explains Carsten Rundholz, who together with his wife pursues the creative process of all collections with curiosity and excitement. “It’s fun to open new doors, to gather more and more impressions and to be able to work in the collection.”

The label’s increasing success justifies this philosophy: Because in times of fashionable stimulus satiation and a consumer-oriented oversupply the RUNDHOLZ label stands for constantly interesting clothing, which attracts self-assured, exacting women first and foremost.

An identification on both sides: “We are pleased that there are people who are on the same wavelength with us, and who understand and appreciate our ideas”, says Carsten Rundholz. Ideas which one can also look forward to in the future.
