Songzio’s 2009 F/W collection exemplifies his design identity: Aspiration. Aspiration is a strong desire, longing, or aim. Simply put, it is ambition. These garments are a few examples of the inspiration provided by his Muses. Songzio’s designs embody the journey that a young man takes to achieve his dreams.

Since its inception, Songzio’s collection is known for his ambitious and picturesque designs.
This season, his signature graphic and visual elements are maximized and enhanced by voluminous yet slimming silhouettes. These elements are embodied in abstract and multi-dimensional pleat detailing.


These designs encompass a heroic theme based on an architectural neo-avant-garde structure. These elements blend together to represent a young man’s strong aspiration to be a light in an often dark world. Songzio contrasts grey and red, which represent a young man’s aspirations, against a base of black, which represents the world. Rock and military detailing tie in the archetypical ambitious adolescent spirit.

Their aspiration comes from their lonely fight to make a positive impact on the world.
