In 1984 Hans Demoed and Geert de Rooij started The People of the Labyrinths, a fashion company and fashion-label specializing from the start in handprinted and hand-dyed creations.
A team of designers who maintain the high standards set by themselves for the uncompromising and awe-inspiring quality of three high-fashion collections: The People of the Labyrinths, Taurus (for men) and kids. The fascination for labyrinths has been a lasting inspiration for the characteristic silkscreen prints and patterns.
Labyrinths as metaphores for a complex society alluring, inciting and elusive. P.O.T.L. stands for sophisticated simplicity, magical colours and the luxury of unique and personal clothing.
