TOM REBL, born and raised in Germany, was professionally formed in the United Kingdom, where his talent was nurtured in the prestigious Central St. Martins College in London.
In 2008, the designer opens his headquarter in Italy, where the collection is designed and produced by artisans and manufacturers using high quality materials and traditional tailoring skills.
His curious mind is reflected in his collections, which are influenced by his passion: music, design and contemporary art with references from the past, which are a continuous source of inspiration for his avant-garde creations.
Tom’s captivating creativity and the mixture of superb technical skills give the collections an extraordinary twist and international appeal.
The stylized lips, which are part of the logo, are a metaphor for an introverted world. The lips are a symbol of sensuality, which is recognizable and distinctive all around the globe, like the designs of TOM REBL, which come to life once worn by individuals and amplify the wearer’s attitude. The subtitle “shocking radiance” is a tribute to the legendary and eponymous fragrance from the 1920s by Elsa Schiapparelli, icon of style and elegance.
With authenticity and profound research, Tom led the brand to an international standard, with a great number of followers within the world of celebrities and musicians. TOM REBL is known for his edginess, which is loved by people who like to cultivate an avant-garde reputation. Amongst his fans and clients there are numerous personalities such as Green Day, Justin Bieber, Karl Lagerfeld, Piero Pelù from Litfiba, Morgan, Bluvertigo, Sergio Carnevale, Emis Killa, Club Dogo, Stash from The Kolors and Chris Cab amongst others.
The brand is working independently and regardless of the rules of the fashion system and therefore became the voice of a new generation.
The German designer is also known for discovering new models and model types. In the last years, he used mostly models or people with strong personalities, which Tom discovered during his numerous research trips to underground clubs of the metropolis ́ around the globe.
TOM REBL strongly believes in the interconnection between menswear and womenswear. So starting from Spring / Summer 2015, Tom launched the women ́s collection, keeping a thin line between the masculine and the feminine.
Today, the TOM REBL collections are distributed throughout Europe, Russia, USA and Asia in the most prestigious boutiques and department stores.
After shows and events in various international destinations, TOM REBL presented for five seasons his collections in the official catwalk show calendar of Milan Fashion Week. Recently TOM REBL relocated to Paris and participated at Paris Fashion Week for Spring / Summer 2016. The general strategy of this change is to stimulate the growth of the brand on an international level.
Nevertheless, the headquarter remains in Milan, from where the commercial development and communicaton continue to be controlled. TOM REBL remains strongly connected to his Italian matrix and continues to represent the highest standard in fashion production and to promote his unique style in construction and design.
