LUX&BEE is a Paris-based fashion consulting company with a European reach, serving retail clients in the luxury and mass-market sectors. LUX&BEE provides a selection of diversified services aimed at optimizing customer growth and development opportunities, covering the full array of fashion market sectors, including Women’s, Men’s, Children’s, Accessories, Jewelry, Beauty, Home Decor, Gourmet, Art and Design. To accomplish this, LUX&BEE proposes four interdependent activities: Retail Consulting, Product Sourcing, Creative Business Development and BEE-Spoke Services.
Founders Florence Calvet and Leticia Williams-Balue share a common vision: to offer clients a solid European platform from where the development of successful business opportunities can happen. FLORENCE CALVET
With over 25 years of experience in the fashion business, Florence Calvet brings her extensive industry knowledge and established network of professional relationships to LUX&BEE. She most recently worked at the Mint Paris buying office where she oversaw the Saks Fifth Avenue Riyadh and Jeddah, Hudson’s Bay Canada, Brand Alley and ASOS accounts.
Previously she freelanced for such respected companies as Marvin Traub Associates and Henri Bendel, supplying them with her market research and buying expertise.
With over 25 years of experience in the fashion business, Florence Calvet brings her extensive industry knowledge and established network of professional relationships to LUX&BEE. Before branching out to freelance, Florence was a European Sourcing Consultant for Victoria’s Secret. She spent her early years at the AMC buying office in Paris where she represented the Bloomingdale’s NY and Harrods London accounts.
Her introduction to fashion was as Couture and RTW Assistant to Monsieur Emanuel Ungaro followed by her time as Studio Coordinator at Charles Jourdan. Florence is French and is fluent in English and German.
LETICIA WILLIAMS-BALUE
Previous to LUX&BEE, Leticia held the position of Senior Executive for the Saks Fifth Avenue USA, Mexico, and Saks Direct accounts at the Mint Paris Buying Office where she gained an intimate understanding of retail strategies for both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce businesses.
Prior to that, Leticia assisted Vera Wang in coordinating its Paris showrooms. She concurrently worked as a part-time Sales and Press Assistant for jewelry designer Taher Chemirik. She gained her first valuable market experience as Assistant Paris Buyer to legendary New York retailer Janet Brown. Prior to which she was a design studio intern at René Mancini.
Leticia is American and moved to France permanently in 2004 upon completing undergraduate programs through Columbia University, the American University of Paris, and earning her BA from Middlebury College with a joint degree in Architecture and Theatrical Costume Design. She speaks fluent French.
