IN THE BEGINNING
It was 1973 when the Italian entrepreneur Saverio Moschillo embarked on a career under the wings of his distinguished mentor Guido Ranieri. At the end of the 70’s Saverio Moschillo decides to storm the fashion world by himself and begins to travel around Italy in search of points of sale to distribute the lines he was representing at the time. He started collaborations with the most important brands in the fashion scene.

GROWTH
At the start of the 80’s Saverio Moschillo unveiled his first showroom in Bari, quickly followed by the opening of a splendid showroom in Naples, in Piazza Amedeo XIV, in an exotic garden overlooking the Gulf. This soon proved to be too small and was replaced by a new 1,000 square metres space in a splendid 17th century building, again overlooking the Gulf. Shortly after Saverio Moschillo decided to expand and took over the third floor of the very same building. Rome was next - 260 square metres in via Frattina, right in the centre. In the mid ‘80s it was the Milan’s turn, with a showroom in Via Manzoni, followed by the opening of showrooms in Via S. Andrea 12, Via S. Andrea 18 and Via Senato, 11. In Rome, two prestigious new showrooms were opened in the glamorous Piazza di Spagna and during 1996 a 1,150 square metres showroom was opened in Paris, facing Place Vendôme, Place de la Concorde and Jardins des Tuileries. In 1997 came Düsseldorf, where Saverio Moschillo bought an entire building with 7,000 square metres of garden in one of the most elegant locations in the centre. He then decided to open a 1,500 square metre structure in a 1950s building in Terstegenstrasse. The next step was to open a showroom in southern Germany, in Munich, where he occupied a 1,100 square metres showroom in the Royal Palace. 1998 also saw his arrival in another continent, with the opening of a showroom in the Crown Building in New York City with a 900 square metres showroom on Fifth Avenue. The “Moschillo empire” thus became a global reality that conquers the most important cities and roads that in Italy and abroad are linked to historical, cultural and architectural prestige. After having distributed important labels, Saverio Moschillo realizes that to enforce his professional image he needs to create an entire industry on his own. He starts to represent important participations in various companies also stipulating important long-term licensing agreements.

JOHN RICHMOND
The first contact between the Italian entrepreneur and the British designer occurred about 20 years ago. This first meeting between the two did not seal the start of a professional collaboration but signs the beginning of a deep friendship. Because of the mutual trust and respect about Saverio Moschillo and John Richmond begin working together about ten years later: Saverio Moschillo becomes partner of the label and begins to produce the collections designed by John Richmond in Falber, a high quality company in Forlì. The continuous investments, the development of the distribution, an effective communication strategy, a proficient production, a competent team and, last but not least, the great encounter of minds between partners are the ingredients that helped the brand growing up constantly in these last years.
In 2009 the launch of the John Richmond and John Richmond for Men fragrances signed the grand entrance of the brand in the beauty universe.




RICHMOND
The RICHMOND project combines the two young collections Richmond X and Richmond Denim designed by the English designer John Richmond:
The RICHMOND world is not only about clothing but it’s a complete universe including accessories and shoes, underwear and beachwear.
Different inspirations contribute to create the RICHMOND mood: fresh, young and contemporary, never forgetting its typical british roots and attitude.

HUSKY
Starting from the autumn/winter 2004-2005 the production of the Husky brand was given in licence to Falber of Forlì guided by the volcanic Saverio Moschillo who’s also the guide of the entire process of distribution through his showrooms.
The most envied and copied hunting jacket in the whole world, deeply appreciated by members of the Royal Family, grows quickly into a new kind of lifestyle, contemporary and modern without losing the strong grip on its brand heritage.
After navy blue and military green, exquisitely british, the brand paints its own style with endless shades and colours.
Husky is, up to today, a complete range of clothing, dressing also the younger ones with the brand new kidswear line named Husky boys&girls.

RODOLPHE MENUDIER
In January 2006, Saverio Moschillo set up a new company (RM/SM) with French designer Rodolphe Menudier to develop his self named label. Having previously worked with top fashion houses, the French designer is now free to dedicate himself exclusively to his own men’s and women’s luxury footwear line. The new Italo-French partnership combines the designer’s styling talent with Saverio Moschillo’s business knowledge. Their partnership agreement aims to increase the numbers of both multi-brand points of sale, shop in shops and corners in top luxury department stores and directly managed boutiques in addition to the flagship store in Paris.

CURRENTLY
Moschillo now boasts 23 showrooms world-wide, over 9,000 clients and hundreds of employees. An empire steadily built on sheer determination and the insight of an all-round fashion operator: his skills and sensibility also earned him the office of Vice President in Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
