The fifty-second edition of International Gift, Jewellery and Fashion Jewellery Week concluded last 22nd January. The largest trade event for the consumer goods and home furnishings industry brought together the products and services of some 2,200 exhibitors in the halls at FERIA DE MADRID. Once again, the three fairs that make up the Week: INTERGIFT, the International Gift Fair, BISUTEX, the Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, and IBERJOYA, the International Jewellery, Silverware, Watch and Related Industries Exhibition, achieved some excellent results, welcoming a total of 85,201 professionals, which represents an increase of 1.5% compared to January 2006.
Another aspect of these fairs relates to their international dimension. All three events currently head the rankings of the main European fairs for their respective sectors in this respect. Thus, we might highlight the attendance of nearly 5,000 buyers at International Gift, Jewellery and Fashion Jewellery Week as a whole, of whom 75% registered exclusively for INTERGIFT and BISUTEX.
