Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, organized by Ifema Madrid with the support of Madrid City Council, has unveiled the official calendar for its Spring/Summer 2027 edition, taking place from September 14 to 19, 2026. Over six days, Madrid will once again become the epicenter of Spanish fashion, bringing together established designers, emerging talent, craftsmanship, and contemporary creative voices.
MBFWMadrid spans three official venues and five exclusive locations
This season marks a significant evolution for MBFWMadrid, with the introduction of new venues that extend the runway experience beyond its traditional framework. The event will open at the Crystal Palace Greenhouse in Arganzuela, a striking new setting that sets the tone for the week, while the Palacio de Cibeles returns with a renewed format. A substantial part of the program moves to the Communication and Arts Campus in Madrid – San Francisco de Sales of Nebrija University, reinforcing a more open, city-connected vision of fashion.
Returns and debuts
Among the defining moments of the season is Palomo’s 10th anniversary celebration, expected to be one of the highlights of the week. The calendar also welcomes the return of influential names that have shaped contemporary Spanish fashion, including Moisés Nieto, Alvarno and Redondo Brand, while further strengthening its program with the continued presence of designers such as Juan Vidal, Adolfo Domínguez, Ernesto Naranjo, Acromatyx and Álex Rivière. Further underscoring the event’s commitment to fostering new talent, Celia B and Antonio del Canto will make their official MBFWMadrid runway debuts.
National and International Designer Awards
As part of this edition’s awards program, both supported by Madrid City Council, Hannibal Laguna will receive the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid National Designer Award, honoring his exceptional career, creative legacy, and international influence as the house celebrates its 40th anniversary. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid International Designer Award will be presented to label Agua by Agua Bendita, through the Latin American Fashion Awards, the global platform dedicated to increasing visibility, access, and opportunity for the region’s most outstanding creative talents. The award recognizes the brand’s ability to translate cultural heritage into a globally resonant fashion language, bridging craftsmanship, innovation, and contemporary relevance.
