Born in Lourdes in 1961, Roland Mouret debuted in Paris and London as an artistic director, model and designer. He showed his first collection at London Fashion Week in February 1998 and was critically acclaimed. He was even honoured with an appearance on the front cover of Collezioni. Since, Roland Mouret has firmly established himself as a leader in design on an international scale. Having received prizes like the British Designer of the Year at the Elle Style Awards and three nominations at the Lycra British Fashion Awards, of which one was in the designer of the year category, his work is recognised all over the world. He has dressed numerous celebrities, such as Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett and Demi Moore.
In January 2010, Roland Mouret presented his first menswear collection to the press.
