Sacha Walckhoff for Christian Lacroix shows today for the first time at the Christian Lacroix Store, 75006 Paris

Sacha Walckhoff studied at the Ecole des Arts et Techniques de la Mode in Barcelona. After working for Remy Daumas, Elie Jacobson (Dorothée Bis) and Michel Klein, he met Christian Lacroix in August of 1992. That was the start of a long collaboration between the two men. To start with, he was the designer for different prêt-à-porter lines; then from 1996, he was the manager of a prêt-a-porter studio. In 2000, Sacha Walckhoff set up his own business and was also a consultant for Kenzo, Jean Claude Jitrois and Christian Lacroix. In 2002, upon Christian Lacroix’s request, Sacha Walckhoff returned to the Christian Lacroix house full time and became thus his right-hand man. In January 2010, after the departure of its founder, Sacha Walckhoff was named Creative Director of the Christian Lacroix House. Since being appointed in command of Christian Lacroix’s artistic direction as well as the ready-to-wear womenswear and Haute Couture liens, Sacha Walckhoff has continued the spirit of the house through the menswear, eyewear, beachwear, accessories and lifestyle products.
