Thursday September 22, 2011 saw the jury, headed by Roland Mouret, announce for the 3rd edition of the PV Awards.

Selected based on samples submitted by the Première Vision exhibitors for the show’s Autumn-Winter 2012-13 forums, 100 fabrics were in competition, each for one of four prizes: The Grand Jury Prize, the Handle Prize, the Innovation Prize and The Imagination Prize. The presitigious jury who chose which weavers’ fabrics are deemed worthy of a prize was comprised of an international selection of industry professionals:Francesco Bova, Fabric Research & Development Manager, Valentino (Italy), Brigitte Comazzi, Artistic Director / Fashion consultant (France), Tony Delcampe, Head of La Cambre-Mode (Belgium), Zhou Hong, Chief designer, Dalian Sunfed Int’l Group (China), Céline Méteil, Designer, winner of the Première Vision Prize at Hyères (France), Marie-Christine Rousseau, Purchasing Manager, Agnès b. (France) and Pascaline Wilhelm, Fashion Director, Première Vision.

The team, headed by Roland Mouret, publicly announced the list of winners on Thursday, 22 September, at noon in the Première Vision General Forum. The recipients of prizes were as follows:

The Grand Jury Prize: Euromaglia (Italy)
Handle Prize: Toray Japan (Japan)
Innovation Prize: Frederico Aspesi (Italy)
Imagination Prize: ((Forster Willi/Forster Rohner}} (Switzerland)

Each prize winner was presented with a trophy by Roland Mouret. The ceremony saw weavers, spinners, designers and international buyers come together to celebrate creativity and design excellence in textiles.
