The prestigious fashion house supports the emerging talents of the equally prestigious Italian fashion school.

The collaboration means a three-year project, which includes the creation of scholarships; the organisation “Fashion Talks” between the school’s students and Louis Vuitton’s designers; visits for students to two of the house’s most emblematic workshops – the historic leather goods and trunks workshop in Asnières and the shoes manufacturer at Fiesso d’Artico near Venice.

Yves Carcelle, Chairman and CEO of the brand comments, “The transmission of savoir-faire and creativity is one of Louis Vuttion’s milestones”. Roberto Riccio, Managing Director of the school says, “Louis Vuitton’s commitment in this partnership is an honour for us and gives our students a unique possibility to observe closely the dynamics of a major international luxury brand. The quest for quality and commitment to constant innovation are common values that Istituto Marangoni and Louis Vuitton share, and on which we decided to build our 3 years partnership to support young talents”.

The project embodies the spirit of Louis Vuitton, which supports different cultural initiatives and programmes helping young artists worldwide – some examples are the partnership with the San Carlo Theatre in Naples, the Louis Vuitton Young Arts Project in London in collaboration with five cultural institutions, or the Louis Vuitton Arts Excellence Programme with the School of Arts in Singapore.
