This book, DIOR COUTURE, is a portfolio of over one hundred iconic gowns from the entire era of Christian Dior haute couture, including dresses designed by Dior himself and those of his successors, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, and John Galliano.

Each of these portraits were shot by fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier whose work has graced the pages of the world’s leading magazines including Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, and many others.

Shot in settings including a movie studio in Beijing, Times Square in New York and, in Paris, in venues including a private château, the Opéra Garnier, avenue Montaigne, and at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, the stunning gowns—vintage and contemporary—were shot on models including Natalia Vodianova, Gisele Bündchen, Karolina Kurkova, Karlie Kloss, Gemma Ward, Agyness Deyn, Caroline Trentini, and actress Charlize Theron.
