Remix — the international fashion & fur design competition organized by The International Fur Federation (IFF) — and Vogue Talents revealed a shortlist of 12 designers that have been invited to the Pelota, in Milan, for the grand finale on March 4th, where the final judging will take place based on a runway presentation.

‘Vogue Italia with Vogue Talents continues to support young talented designers, it is fundamental at this stage of their career to have the support from the industry,’ said Franca Sozzani, editor-in-chief at Vogue Italia, when pinpointing the support by Vogue Talents for the second year in a row, adding that the winner will receive best-in-class training with some of the world’s leading fashion designers.

The twelve finalists are Aarón Nachtailer (Argentina), Yekaterina Ivankova (Kazakhstan), Elísabet Karlsdóttir (Iceland), Haoliang Sun (China), Lorenzo Sisi (Italy), Lotte van Dijk (Netherlands), Nicolas Martin Garcia (Italy), Polina Zubakina (Russia), Yelda Şebnem Eker (Turkey), Sophie Sälekari (Finland), Yuko Koike (Japan), andYusuf Kalem (Turkey).

Remix, a brainchild of the IFF, was introduced in 2003 in order to support young fashion designers. The competition gives up-and-coming design talents from across the globe an opportunity to showcase their collections to an international audience, and to receive global exposure across a range of traditional and online media channels. Over 600 students from more than 25 countries have taken part in the competition since it began.
