Kartell will rock the Salone del Mobile 2015 with three special events. Since 1963, the Milan-based furniture-maker offers functional yet stylish pieces designed with a mix of wit and technology.

In coordination with the (Salone}’s theme, the Kartell events will focus on the relationship between manufacturers and design. In fact, Kartell Contemporary Lifestyle aims to pay homage to individuality and non-conformism, by turning industrial design suggestions into organic-inspired elements.

In addition, 15 years after its launch, the Museo Kartell is enjoying a complete makeover. The permanent exhibition tells the company's 65-year history through products, projects, videos and communication tools, while the ground floor is home to temporary exhibitions and special projects, such as an installation dedicated to the Expo Milano 2015. The press preview will take place on April 13th, from 11am to 12.30pm.

Two years after its debut, Kartell by Laufen's bathroom collection "Pure Emotion" will be presented at Kartell by Laufen first solo-showroom located in the heart of Brera district. The launch will be celebrated with a cocktail on April 14th, from 7pm to 9pm.

Last but not least, Kartell will pay tribute to the Italian architect and designer Ettore Sottsass with an exclusive collection of vases, stools and a lamp designed by the master himself, alongside a celebration of his Memphis project. This display on Via Turati, which inspired by the famous design group’s typical graphics, is rounded off with the soft lines of several Kartell seats upholstered in Memphis fabrics. The exhibition will take place from April 14th to 15th , with a special press preview on April 14th, from 6pm to 7pm
