The [size=14][red]Yoshio Kubo[/red][/size] brand is reinventing itself, starting over, back to the beginning. The label expects to surprise us with a renewal in [size=14][red]Tokyo[/red][/size] this next July, with new concept including innovative shapes and colours. In order to match his show with the Paris sales campaign, Yoshio Kubo will hold his solo Runway show in July in Tokyo. Furthermore, the brand is recently changing, from its logo to its inspiration source, dreaming of its oversea’s market.

Yoshio Kubo use to work for the American haute couture designer [red]Robert Danes[/red] as his assistant designer for 4 years in New York. Aiming to redefine the meaning of details and wearing, he launched his own collection “Yoshio Kubo” in 2004. [green]“Getting people to think about the meaning and the details of the clothes which they wear”[/green] - stated Yoshio.

Known for their complex patterns, technical fabrics and original prints, his collections have established a proper brand identity since the launching. However, he is giving his brand an overhaul : [green]“I use standard colors and play more with original cutting and detail”[/green]. Despite of that fact he restored its original logo to recapture the essence of the beginning, he aims to move off from his comfort zone. He’s focusing on exporting his brand, so that he may soon organize a runway show in [size=14][red]Paris[/red][/size].
