FRANCE/ Paris: Malaysian Designers To Show At PFW

This event celebrates ten Malaysian designers and is positioning Malaysia as a fashion destination. It also is an opportunity to discover the skills of Malaysian talents the time of a fashion show on the 28th September and in the showroom on the 29th and 30th of September.

Organized by [red]Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation[/red] [grey]MATRADE[/grey] and [red]STYLO International[/red] with [red]Dato Jimmy Choo[/red] as the honorary advisor for Malaysia Fashion Week, this event marks the strength and creativity of the country's fashion industry and enables a worldwide launch in Kuala Lumpur in November 2016.

The 10 Malaysian designers you’ll meet at the Fashion Week will be:

> [size=14]Bill Keith[/size]: Recently, Bill Keith has expanded its design on accessories, furniture and home decor.

> [size=14]Porosus[/size]: The brand’s name is derived from the scientific name of the largest species of living crocodile, the “Crocodylus Porosus”.

> [size=14]Ruzz Gahara[/size]: Using traditional batiks handmade on the Malaysian’s East Coast, the brand develops a fair approach to preserve the know-how and to focus on the next generation of master craftsmen.

> [size=14]Bon Zainal[/size]: One of the most awarded designer from Malaysia, Bon Zainal contributed to the fashion awareness by Malaysian men.

> [size=14]Fiziwoo[/size]: Created in 2009 by a young designer Hafzi Mohad Radzi Woo, in 2011 he was joined by the designer-architect Kai Izree Haffiz.

> [size=14]Jo Disaya[/size]: The belief of the designer Jo Disaya in individuality and equality is expressed in her creations.

> [size=14]Sakura[/size]: The bag’s brand, created in 2011 by designer Suraya, celebrates the traditional Malaysian art, the Tekat Perak.

> [size=14]Tanoti[/size]: Its accessories collection highlights fine silk scarves entirely handmade by artisans of Tanoti.

> [size=14]Toi - The Dressmaker[/size]: In his creations, the brand is twisting styles, textures, materials and colors.
