Natalie Massenet is the new non-executive co-chairman at Farfetch alongside the company's founder José Neves.

After having stepped down at Net-a-Porter the e-commerce portal she created, following the company's merger with the Italian giant Yoox, the 51 year-old fashion entrepreneur and president of the Bfc-British Fashion Council since 2013, announced her new position in an Instagram post. “In my new non-exec role I look forward to further realising Farfetch's potential, developing its global brand and strengthening its fashion industry partnerships.”, said Ms. Massenet.

It's an efficient strategy for Farfetch, that has recorded an important growth since being founded in 2007 by the Portuguese entrepreneur Neves. Today the international platform player, which connects a prestigious global network of boutique with consumers, is the world's biggest luxury online site and thanks to the last investments, the company has been evaluated for more than $ 1 billion.
