LuisaViaRoma transforms its iconic store in Florence into a home to start the festivities of the holiday season with a project that celebrates the excellence of Italian fashion and design.

The project is lead by the designer and architect Cristina Celestino, whose work is based on observation and research, going beyond traditional concepts of design, blending the old and the new to develop creative endeavors. Cristina draws inspiration from oneirism and surrealism, as well as the legendary Italian architect, designer and photographer Carlo Mollino.

The installation will include a selection of iconic furniture, some pieces designed by Cristina herself and others from brands she has handpicked such as: Antique Mirror, Assouline, Atrezzo Barcelona, Azucena, Besana Carpet Lab, Bottega Veneta, Centro Studi Poltronova, Ceramiche Pugi, Emilio Pucci, Etro, Fontana Arte, Fornace Brioni, Fornasetti, Gebrueder Thonet Vienna, Londonart, Pianca, Pineider, Rubelli, Salvatori, Seletti, Sergio Rossi, Stucchichiostri, Tonelli, Torremato, Versace and Vitra.

The inauguration of the project will also mark the official launch of the limited edition capsule collections inspired by Christmas and New Year’s Eve. These exclusive collections are designed in collaboration with designers such as: Alberta Ferretti, Emilio Pucci, Marni, Missoni and Versace.

The LuisaViaRoma Home for the Holidays project will officially launch at 10:30am on November 5th with the presentation of the in-store installation. On November 15th, the capsule collections will become available exclusively in-store and online at LUISAVIAROMA.COM and at LVR @ Spring pop-up in New York, where a previously unrevealed room completing the Florence installation will be located.
