Diesel’s founder, [red]Renzo Rosso[/red], just invested in the luxury fashion brand Amiri.

Diesel, chaired by Renzo Rosso is part of OTB which stands for Only The Brave. OTB has been looking for several investments these past months as Diesel USA went bankrupt in March 2019.

Rumors say OTB plans on investing 224.8 million dollars over the next three years. After investing in Martin Margiela, Victor & Rolf, the acquirement of Marni in 2015, it just considered tackling Roberto Cavalli…

Will Amiri be a good move? Quite promising indeed as Amiri was one of the nominees for the 2019 Menswear Designer of the Year at the CFDA Fashion Awards. Amiri is just like Diesel in style, a streetwear and rock twist, with many celebrity fans such as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys and Keith Richards etc…

Thanks to the investment stake from Rosso, Amiri could possibly open his own retail doors very soon, maybe even this year !
