Design Parade Toulon held its fourth International Festival of Interior Architecture from June 27 to 30, 2019. The exhibitions will be open to the public until September 29, 2019.
Following the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the International Design Parade festival in Hyères, the villa Noailles has committed itself in 2016 to a new exhibition in Toulon devoted to interior design and decoration.
Within the scope of the villa Noailles’ festivals, Design Parade Toulon unites several exhibitions around a competition made to reveal and support young interior designers, an unprecedented project of this kind in France. Through this innovative platform, the villa Noailles aims to further its support towards young designers while gathering members of the industry, journalists, and the general public. There are two segments to the Festival: design in Hyères and interior design in Toulon.
Toulon's theme remains the same since it started four years ago: a room in a house along the Mediterranean sea. This year's president, François Champsaur, would have preferred a more ecological approach to this year's contest. Even though the theme is classic and is the same, he says the jury seeks atypical and innovative projects.
10 young international designers were selected to produce a living room and a display window.Their creations are at the center of the festival gathered the historical center. All around more projects are displayed and define a path through the city of Toulon.
The creations are open to the public until September 29, 2019.
