Partner of Art Basel since four years, the Fondation Cartier renews its commitment to contemporary art providing a space designed by Beat Takeshi Kitano.
The installation, created by Beat Takeshi Kitano for Art Basel is a continuation of the Gosse de Peintre Paris exhibition, held till September 12th 2010 at the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain.
The stand invites visitors to participate and color the artwork, following their own inspiration. Adults and childrens will discover , withe Gosse de Peintre an unusual creation, nourished by the dreamlike and humouristic universe of Beat Takeshi Kitano, providing to the audience all the accessories needed to the "perfect painter".
This unique artwork will be presented to Miami Art Basel in December 2010 and will be sold during an auction for charity.
