Death of Dennis Hopper

The American artist died on May 29th. He was 74.

The actor passed away last week in Los Angeles as a result of cancer. Known for his role in "Easy Rider"(which he also directed), Dennis Hopper appeared in over 150 films throughout is career and worked with the greatest directors, such as Francis Ford Coppola, Wim Wenders and David Lynch.

Son of the American counter-culture, Dennis Hopper, born in 1936 in Kansas, was also an artist, poet and photographer above all. He exhibited his works in galleries in California and has worked with many magazines, including Harper's Bazaar and Vogue. Photographer is also the role it plays in "Apocalypse Now" by Francis Ford Coppola. His last public appearance took place on March 26th, when he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his incredible career.

In late 2008, an exhibition was dedicated to Dennis Hopper at theCinémathèque Française In Paris. Read more
