Five Nigerian designer brands are presenting their collections for the first time at a European trade show. Supported by the LAGOS x PARIS Accelerator, they are participating in the Who's Next 2024 edition: Elexiay, Eki Kéré, Obida, Waf. and Aga Culture.

ELEXIAY
Founded by Elyon Adede
Nigeria is blessed with rich history, heritage and craftsmanship which Elexiay explores, focusing majorly on crochet and knits. Crochet is an ancient skill which has been confined for years to certain garments. All Elexiay's crochet pieces are handmade and recyclable.
EKI KÉRÉ
Founded by Abasiekeme Ukanireh
Éki Kéré celebrates African craftsmanship through biodegradable fashion, crafting artisanal designs that respects people and the planet. The brand draws inspiration from the rich masquerade culture of The Raffia City, reflecting in its designs an embrace of a myriad of masquerade traditions. Asymmetry and unconventionality defines the brand’s style.
OBIDA
Founded by Obida Obioha
Obida aimed to nourish the spirit, not just through fashion, but also by offering items that can add a touch of joy to your daily life. Symbolised by the circular motif of the brand logo, Obida represents the eternal flow of cultural expression, with the O’ serving as a timeless emblem of their West African roots.

Founded by Jomi Marcus-Bello
Wafflesncream is Nigeria’s first skateboarding company, serving as the very first hub for skate culture and extreme sports in the West African region. The brand's aim is to grow the culture of skateboarding within Nigeria, by supporting youth who show talent and interest in the sport.
AGA CULTURE
Founded by Moyo Ogunseinde
Aga means functional objects or furniture pieces in Yoruba. The brand tells African Stories, past and present. Africa has a rich, diverse culture and it inspires Aga to design and make objects, art and accessories that fuse age-old traditions with a modern aesthetic.
