Everybody lives inside houses, and inside those spaces our life takes place for most of it. We rest there, we regenerate there, we read, we think, we study, we eat, we sleep, we live together with our families, we welcome our friends.

In the seventies Riccardo Dalisi worked on a project to build a nursery school in an area of Naples called Rione Traiano. He decided to engage children of this district, favouring a participatory approach to planning, with a particular focus on these neighborhoods and their inhabitants, making a clear statement: children will be the future users and beneficiaries of this building, no one but them truly knows this space, and work on this project needs to start with their own ideas.
Following the same mission, the Redesign Your School contest arises with the purpose of engaging primary and secondary school students in redesigning a section of their own school.
