Palais Galliera presenting “Back Side/Fashion from behind”, the off-site exhibition of the Musee Bourdelle. It questions the perception we have of our own and other people's backs. One can rarely see his own back, others can see ours. The curator Alexandre Samson tries to change the perception we have of this particularly flat and sometimes muscular part of our bodies.

This exceptional exhibition displays clothing and accessories from the collections of the Palais Galleria. Over a hundred items from the 18th century up to today, as well as a selection of film extracts and photographs.

Famous designers such as Chanel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Rick Owens, Comme des Garçons, Raf Simons, Yves Saint Laurent, Azzedine Alaia dialogue with Antoine Bourdelle’s sculptures around our spines.
