Future, Former, Fugitive is an exhibition devoted to the ''French scene'', both from a generational that territorial perspective. The exhibition explores, on one hand, the idea of an open territorial placement reuniting artists born in France and abroad, living in France or elsewhere, but somehow linked to this country. On the other, it also connects different generations who today share this evolving place.

The exhibition includes forty-four artists or groups all between the 1930s and the 1990s, who all live and work in and within their era. Future, Former, Fugitive aims to open up our minds and make us reflect that there is not just one French scene, but it is rather a big network of communities and engagements.
