IN COOPERATION WITH THE ISTANBUL BIENNALE

In the epoch in which we live, we find ourselves confronted with new challenges. The boundaries between public and private have become blurred. Old ties are being dissolved, new alliances are forming, the value of peaceful coexistence is being put to the test. International artists invited by Elmgreen & Dragset illuminate notions of good neighbourliness and ways of interacting with neighbours and foreigners. As the first cooperation between the Pinakothek der Moderne and the Istanbul Biennale, ‘A Good Neighbor’ will also contribute to building new connections between Turkey and Germany.
