Milano Fashion&Jewel: Digital Passport, Sustainability, and New Markets. The Future of Retail
|
|
Alongside its extensive exhibition lineup, Milano Fashion&Jewels presents a comprehensive program of events designed to serve as a vital resource for industry professionals to stay informed and exchange ideas. The schedule focuses on key themes reshaping the future of the fashion industry: Sustainability > Digital Innovation > Internationalization > Evolving Consumer Habits > Transformation of Retail Spaces
This educational and informative journey complements the event’s commercial aspect with opportunities for analysis, inspiration, and networking, providing brands, retailers, and professionals with practical insights to navigate market shifts.
INDUSTRY TALKS
- Sustainability Models and the Digital Product Passport
Sustainability will be a central pillar of the events organized by Slow Fashion Commons and Fa la cosa giusta!, featuring a discussion dedicated entirely to the evolution of production and consumption models. This topic represents an increasingly tangible priority for companies and retailers, who are now called upon to transform sustainability from a mere communication element into a structural component of their business strategy.
At the same time, supply chain digitalization will take center stage in a talk hosted by TeamSystem on the Digital Product Passport, a tool set to radically change how product information is collected, managed, and shared across the entire value chain.
GLOBAL EXPANSION
- International Buyers, Market Access, and Cross-Border Partnerships
The Middle East Chamber of Buyers will offer a distinctly international perspective through direct engagement with buyers from the Gulf states and the CIS/post-Soviet region, designed to provide deeper insight into the characteristics, opportunities, and market-entry strategies for these high-potential markets. Indeed, the event’s international outreach extends beyond the trade fair itself by: > WSN Bijorhca Paris: Participation within the "L’Italie à Bijorhca" section.
RETAIL TRANSFORMATION
- Next-Gen Marketing Strategies and Gen Z Consumer Trends
Finally, the future of the retail outlet and the relationship with new consumers will be a key focus of the session “The Marketing That Will Change Your Store Forever.” Led by Massimiliano Alvisi, this session is dedicated to the new strategies needed to address evolving purchasing behaviors. There will also be an in-depth look at younger generations, fashion, and emerging forms of communication, insights essential for understanding how aesthetic codes, communication styles, and the relationship between consumers and brands are shifting in a rapidly transforming market.
