Biography
Alix Petit was born in 1983 in Paris. After she graduated high school in literature, she went in for an artistic career.
She firstly spent a year in a preparatory school to a higher art school: L’ Atelier de Sevres in Paris, and then, she integrated a higher design education institution with competitive entrance examination, in which she specialized in knitwear. During those 3 years studying, she had the opportunity to do internships, among which one with the designer Michel Klein, who hired her in September 2005 as knitwear designer for the lines “Cher Michel Klein” and “Sweet Michel Klein”.
After a year in this company, they decided with her friend Delphine Delafon, also designer at Michel Klein, to create their own womenswear Brand, Heimstone.

After a year in this company, they decided with her friend Delphine Delafon, also designer at Michel Klein, to create their own womenswear Brand, Heimstone.
During summer 2006, they launched a small accessories and collector swimsuits collection. It was the “test” before launching the first dresses and leather jacket collection: Fall Winter 2007.
This collection was introduced to the public in January 2007 at Atmosphere in Prêt-à-porter and Tranoi shows.
In October 2007, the Flagship store opened in Paris, Saint-Germain-des-pres, rue du Cherche Midi.
After a year of collaboration, Delphine Delafon decided to follow another way, so Alix became the only designer and CEO of Heimstone.
The brand is now represented in the best shops around the world in about ten countries.

- April 1983: Birth in Paris.
- June 2001: graduated in literature
- September 2001- June 2002: Atelier de Sevres (foundation course for Art Schools)
- September 2002- June 2005: Atelier Chardon-Savard, (design and school, Knitwear specialty)
- July 2005-July 2006: Knitwear designer for the “Cher Michel Klein” and “Sweet Michel Klein” lines.
- June 2006: Heimstone starts with the creation of an accessories and swimsuits line, only unique pieces
- January 2007: Heimstone foundation and launching of the first winter collection.
- October 2007: Heimstone Flagship Store opening, rue du Cherche Midi, Paris 6e

Heimstone is a French company created in 2007. The master piece of the Heimstone collection is the dress, around which are created unique leather jackets, tee-shirt, belts, jewels and bags.
At the origin of each piece, lies a precise choice of material and colour. They revolve around the use of fabrics such as leather and silk, adorned by original details such as bolts, and studs.
The colours are coordinated in a subtle way, chosen for their originality. Heimstone approach of Fashion is differentiated by a willingness to create innovative pieces while taking as a starting point the subjects which define and have defined the designer’s artistic personality throughout her life such as singers, movies, special cultures or history.
The combination of the different influences of the designer gives rise to a strong collection around a single style. Its pieces can already be found in some of the most prestigious selling points in key fashion capitals such as London, Tokyo, or New York, while the creative headquarter and flagship store are in St. Germain-des-Prés, in Paris.
The Heimstone dresses are comfortable and can be worn both during the day, and in the evening, in a more formal way. It suits every woman particularly those who like to be feminine and express their style and taste. Every season, the designer revisits her concept and explores new inspirations.
